BOARD GAME DESIGN
Designing a board game is about crafting an experience—one that brings people together, challenges the mind, and sparks laughter, competition, and strategy. At its heart, board game design blends creativity with structure. It’s where storytelling meets logic, and where rules guide players toward thrilling decisions.
Pizza Delivery Franchise was born from this passion. We combined fast-paced delivery mechanics, resource management, and strategic property acquisition to create a game that feels both familiar and refreshingly new. Inspired by iconic titles like Monopoly Deal and Deliver At All Costs, this game was designed to be approachable for families yet competitive for seasoned gamers.
Every piece, card, rule, and challenge has been crafted with the player's journey in mind—making every game night memorable. Whether you’re dodging fuel shortages or buying out rival pizza shops, you’re not just playing—you’re building a franchise and claiming victory slice by slice.
PIZZA FRANCHISE: DOMINATE THE DOUGH
Pizza Delivery Franchise is a thrilling, competitive, and strategy-packed board game for 2 to 4 players, inspired by the fast-paced tension of food delivery and the tactical depth of property management. Players take on the roles of pizza shop owners situated on four sides of the city map. Their goal? Deliver pizzas quickly, manage resources wisely, and dominate the city’s pizza market by buying out rival shops and building the ultimate pizza franchise.
From strategic movement, resource tracking, and high-stakes decision-making, Pizza Delivery Franchise offers a uniquely immersive experience that combines the strategic fun of Monopoly Deal with the mission-driven urgency of Deliver At All Costs.

Game Concept & Development
The inspiration for Pizza Delivery Franchise came from two sources:
-
Monopoly Deal: The idea of property ownership and buyouts with quick, tactical decisions.
-
Deliver At All Costs: The tension and urgency of completing missions under time constraints, mirroring real-world delivery pressure.
Combining these inspirations, Pizza Delivery Franchise was designed to test both planning and adaptability. During development, we researched the most engaging elements of time-restricted games and resource-driven competition. We wanted players to feel the pressure of delivering pizzas on time while managing limited fuel and cash—and then use their success to outplay competitors economically.
Our creative process involved:
-
Mapping city streets and delivery points for strategic planning.
-
Balancing reward vs. risk in cash flow and fuel management.
-
Building a fuel economy system to simulate real-life logistics challenges.
-
Introducing card mechanics that align with delivery urgency.
What emerged is a dynamic and deeply thematic game of street-smart strategy and entrepreneurial ambition.
Game Features
-
4 Player Competitive Setup: Each player starts from a unique pizza store positioned on one edge of the board.
-
Turn-Based Dice Movement: Roll a die to move your delivery token, but be wary of fuel usage.
-
Fuel Management System: Track fuel using 3 fuel cards (Full, Moderate, Low) and a fuel tracker from 1–15. Refuel at petrol stations—if you roll the exact number to enter!
-
Delivery Mission Cards: Draw delivery cards that give you 5–15 pizza orders. Deliver them within a time limit (8–15 turns based on quantity), or lose cash.
-
Cash System: Each pizza is worth $5. Complete orders to earn exact cash card values totaling your earnings.
-
Buyout Mechanic: If a player runs out of both money and fuel, their pizza store becomes vulnerable. Another player may purchase it for $200.
-
Victory Condition: The first player to buy out 3 rival pizza shops and own them under their franchise wins the game!
-
Discard Rule: You may discard up to 3 delivery cards in the entire game—use this wisely.
-
Tracking Tools: Every player uses two separate trackers for fuel and delivery turns, both on 1–15 scales.
