Alpha Test is a fast-paced 2D platformer built in Unity as part of a personal game development journey. Inspired by classic platformers like Mario, this game features tight controls, responsive movement, and a sleek dash mechanic that adds speed and challenge to every level. With 10 handcrafted stages that gradually increase in difficulty, Alpha Test is designed to test your timing, precision, and reflexes.

This project is an early alpha version (v1.2) and was developed entirely by a solo developer—covering everything from programming and level design to sound effects and music. While there's no big storyline, Alpha Test stands as a passion-driven prototype made to explore game mechanics, polish gameplay flow, and learn through practice.

Gameplay

Run, jump, and dash your way through 10 handcrafted levels. Each level becomes slightly more difficult, testing your skills and reflexes as you go. There's no combat—just pure platforming challenge.

Purpose

This game was created as a personal learning project by a solo developer to explore Unity, coding, level design, and game mechanics. Alpha Test is version 1.2 and serves as an early prototype.

Audio

All sound effects and music are original and made by the developer. Simple and clean, the audio is designed to match the fast-paced platforming action and most sounds are in developments.
